In China, YJ Tang worked as the Assistant General Manager in Kunming High Tech Products Import & Export Corp for 9 years. He initiated and managed the contract production for Unilever, conducting products development, production, logistics, compliance, distribution and supply chain management. Eealier, YJ worked in Yunnan Machinery & Equipment Import & Export Corp for 3 years. He was in charge of exporting motors, welding machines, machine tools and casting/machining/sheet metal parts to the US as OEM products. In 1991, YJ and his company was among the first exporters in China selling NEMA motor to the US. His team obtained CSA certificate for the Chinese motor manufacturers.

In the US, YJ worked as the Director of Logistics & Supply Chain in North Star World Trade Services, Inc for 6 years. In this role, he further advanced his capabilities in shipping, logistics, customs compliance and supply chain management. He taught himself about ISO9001 and Toyota Way; and practiced the methodologies in his daily management job; and successfully applied the strategies and techniques to his customers, which include Northern Tool & Equipment, HOM Furniture, and SPX etc. Through series of supply chain improvement initiatives, YJ achieved great supply chain visibility, enhanced operation process control and streamlined operation processes for China sourcing operation of his customers. YJ successfully managed logistics and purchase orders for an anual import volume of over 7000 containers from China.

YJ Tang has an MBA degree from the Opus College of Business, University of St. Thomas (2004); a master degree in Fine Mechanics from Shanghai University (1990); a bachalor degree in Machine Building & Automation (1986). He was a Licensed International Trade Specialist certified by the Ministry of Foreigh Trade & Ecomomic Cooperation of China (1993). In 2007, YJ passed the strict test by National Customs Brokers & Forwarder Associate of American (NCBFAA), and became an NCBFAA Certified (2007) Customs Specialist

In the US, Daniel worked for North Star World Trade Service Inc in Minnesota for 4 years. He was responsible for import air and ocean shipment booking, loading, shipping, tracking and delivery. His responsibilities started from when the products are ready for shipment in China factories and ended when the products discharges in the warehouse at the final destination in the US. Daniel has been highly valued by customers for his dedication and accountability. 

Daniel has great work ethic and passion to achieve operational excellence. He is detail oriented and process oriented. He has got solid experience with some major ERP systems, WMS systems and supply chain management systems, and is able to efficiently and effectively utilize technology to achieve high operation performance. 

Daniel has extended knowledge and experience in international trade practices, Incoterm, shipping, and insurance. He was graduated from Tianjin University of Finance & & Economics with a Bachelor Degree in business management. He continued to enrich his knowledge base and job skills through professional certifications and trainings, including CPPM issued by American Purchasing Society, Logistics Manager Certificate issues by Administration of Labor Department of China, Certificate of Management Accounting issued by Nankai University, China.

Dr. Zhang has extensive knowledge of the electrical and electronic industry domestic and oversea and builds up a few complete supply chain solutions for our clients. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University and also has a Master degree in Materials Engineering from University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His real world engineering background includes working in a few electronic giant companies as electrical engineer such as Micron Technology and Agere Systems.

His professional experience in the electronic manufacturing industry includes: create and implement a global supply chain strategy in support of the global customers that is synchronized with company internal global procurement strategies; maximize manufacturing and distribution efficiency for multiple China electronic plants and product lines; implement programs to maintain the lowest possible total system inventory exposure to reduce risk; implement programs for cost reduction and lead-time reduction within the supply chain. Measure and report on project status internally, and to the customer; develop and implement programs to maximize schedule flexibility, while minimizing inventory exposure and maintaining performance to cost targets.

Dr. Zhang is also responsible for supply chain planning such as provide forward price projections; maintain compliance with corporate, and facility policies and procedures; forecast production and shipment over one million unit per month. He initialized and developed critical quality control methods for internal division and external customers. His previous experience also includes worked on site in Chinese plant as client representative and quality assurance expert. During his work in Suzhou, China, he improved production process and implement ISO standard quality control in supplier's production lines for customers. He demonstrated a superior leadership in quality control of our oversea contract factories.

Dr. Zhang is an expert in electronic design, processing, manufacture and testing. He designed hard disk drive related chips and memory chips with complex digital, analog signal processing function. His product and design engaged advanced 60 nano-meter CMOS, BiCMOS technology. As member of IEEE, he published over 60 papers and holds a few U.S. patents. He won a distinguished IEEE award in 2002. He is invited by multiple companies as technology consultant in the electronic design, fabrication and supply chain management field. He is also technique reviewer for IEEE magazines. He was invited to have a presentation in Louisiana Capitol Hill for technology innovation and roadmap and meet Louisiana Governor as a special guest in Governor's mansion in 2002. His outstanding technique ability helps our clients in a very professional way to define product spec, quality control, on-site test procedure and engineering communications.

Cathy had 8 year work history in a large Chinese manufacturer Kunming Steel Works in positions of production process preparation, process training, bill of materials, quality control. Later Cathy worked 4 years for Shunzhang Electronics Ltd, as the Assistant General Manager in charge of quality control and export compliance. Shunzhang is a Taiwanese invested manufacturer producing and exporting computer accessories.

Besides working in manufacturing area, Cathy was also an instructor teaching material engineering, machining and casting in Kunming Engineering & Technology College. She is a China government certified instructor for material engineering.

Cathy has a bachelor degree in material engineering from Yunnan Institute of Technoloy (1986).
